Children's Budget

The federal government funds over 180 different children’s programs, from child health and education to child welfare and juvenile justice. In an effort to better track and calculate the federal government’s investment in children, First Focus created Children’s Budget. This annual publication is the sole source of consistent child-specific federal budget analysis, detailing how federal programs that impact children fare each year in the president’s budget and the congressional appropriations process.
