First Focus works to ensure that federal policies are put in place to protect children from environmental and safety hazards, thus ensuring that every child can lead a healthy life. Specifically, First Focus is working to strengthen federal statutes and regulations that protect children from toxic toy products, and address the need for improvement in other substandard physical, chemical, and environmental living conditions – all of which have long-term effects on child health and well-being.
