First Focus

The continued success of the U.S. economy and productivity of our workforce depends on our ability to provide high-quality early childhood programs for all children. Research consistently shows that quality early learning experiences increase school readiness and improve academic success, while saving schools and states money. Evidence also suggests that disadvantaged and/or minority youth gain the most from early education programs. First Focus believes that ensuring all children have access to high-quality programs will be critical not only for their individual development, but for the nation’s success at large.
