The Rangel Plan

On October 25, 2007, Congressman Charlie Rangel (D-NY), Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee, introduced a wide ranging tax reform package.  With $1.3 trillion in tax poliy changes, this proposal would certainly have a significant impact on children and their families. 

First Focus supports Congressman Rangel's goal of a providing additional assistance to American families through tax reform, and we also urge Congress to make children more of a priority as this important issue is debated.
