Hearing on the Health Equity and Accountability Act (H.R. 3014)
On June 24, 2008, First Focus President Bruce Lesley testified before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce's Subcommittee on Health to discuss the Health Equity and Accountability Act (H.R. 3014). The Act aims to reducing health disparities by improving access to health care, research, and education on the diseases and illnesses that are having a disproportionate impact on minorities.
